MediaFire - free file hosting made simple

Posted by ClifNotes, May 2008, permalink Web Service

You really do have plenty of free file hosting choices. Sometimes they don't stick around very long. I really liked using the OmniDrive service, but they are gone now. Recently I've been using BoxDotNet to host files I that need to share online and I'll soon be trying SkyDrive which was recommended to me by some of my friends.

The MediaFire service offers free hosting and you don't even have to register. In other words, there's no limit to the number of files you can host there. The service is very simple to use and the uploads and downloads are surprisingly snappy.

Here's an example: I uploaded this song from JimiPocius.
